I find this a bit daunting, given that my fridge is still overflowing from last Saturday, but here’s what’s available at the Bloomington Farmers Market this weekend:
Produce:
Apples, beets, bing cherries, blackberries, blueberries, bok choy, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, chard, collards, corn, cucumbers, endive, eggplant, English peas, gooseberries, green beans, green onions, garlic, ground cherries, herbs, kale, kohlrabi, lettuce (many varieties), mulberries, mushrooms (shiitake and oyster), mustard greens, napa cabbage, okra, onions, peaches, pears, pie cherries, potatoes, radishes, raspberries, rhubarb, shallots, snow peas, spinach, summer squash, sugar snap peas, tomatoes, turnips and watercress.
Other Food (available year-round):
Bread, butter, dried herbs, eggs, café items, goat and cow cheeses, honey, hot sauce, maple syrup, meat (beef, elk, lamb and pork) yogurt.
Additional Products:
Bedding Plants, bonsai, flower bouquets, orchids, and ornamental shrubs.
Plus all the usual music, clogging, cooking demos and other midsummer fun!
